Legendary Nigerian actor, Joseph Abiodun Adu popularly known as JAB Adu has died. Family sources say he died after a brief illness on Sunday morning February 28th. He was aged 83. JAB is well known for his role as Bassey Okon in the now rested Village Headmaster. He is survived by his wife and children. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

According to Dan-Borno who shared these photos on twitter, this little boy was lured to a corner by some of his friends, who attacked him with a sharp object. One of them managed to cut his throat but thankfully it wasn't fatal. The quick intervention of an elderly person saved the young boy's life.

The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed former u-17 team coach Emmanuel Amuneke as the new Flying Eagles coach after his heroics helped the under-17 Nigeria team to success in last year's FIFA U-17 tournament in Chile.

The news of his appointment was confirmed by the football body who passed a communique after it's executive board meeting in Abuja on Tuesday. Hmmm...the lady who pushed out these five babies at a go really tried! 28yrs old Eleha Yusuf Abdu gave birth to these bundles of joy today, Tuesday February 16, at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
Being an Eleha, the mother refused to have her photograph taken. The father is a young Koranic teacher. They have two other children aged six and four before these ones. I hear the mother and babies are all doing fine. But they need financial assistance.
