Goods worth N50m destroyed as fire guts Electronics Int’l Market, Onitsha

On Tuesday, goods worth over N50 million were gutted by fire while three people were injured at the popular Electronics International Market Onitsha in Anambra State.The cause of the fire isn't yet known but the inferno was said to have started at about 3.am from one of the shops inside the market.

2 students of Stephjoy Boys Christian High School in Ndeiya, Kiambu County, Kenya died early yesterday morning Monday August 3rd after a fire broke out in their dormitory. Ian Kamau, 16 and Edwin Mugo, 15 perished in the fire while eight others were injured.
