A 31-year-old man identified as Okechukwu, has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly cutting the throat of his mother’s 20-year-old house maid, Chioma Onyegili, because she refused to allow him rape her. The ugly incidence which happened at the family residence at 56, Zik Avenue, Fegge, Onitsha, has thrown the community into shock and many are questioning the sanity of the young man and why he should commit such a crime.
According to residents in the area, the murdered girl was living with Okechukwu’s 70-year-old mother and he used the opportunity to always harass her for sex which she always resisted.
